We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Management QA / QC Inspector

Location: Warri, Delta

Job Purpose / Objective

  • Responsible for delivering operational excellence, compliance, stakeholder support and business performance in the role of QA/QC Inspector – Facility Management.
  • The incumbent ensures safe, efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned responsibilities while supporting Renaissance operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily QA/QC inspections on facility maintenance, renovation, and construction works (civil, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
  • Ensure that client complaints or defects are logged, investigated, and closed within agreed timelines.
  • Support periodic performance reviews of service providers and internal teams.
  • Witness and record testing, commissioning, and calibration of facility systems.
  • Enforce housekeeping, HSE, and quality best practices during maintenance and project execution.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to demonstrate continual quality improvement.
  • Promote right-first-time execution to minimize rework and downtime.
  • Support management reviews and audits with accurate QA/QC data.
  • Support development and updating of method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality control procedures.
  • Update QA/QC documentation, logs, and registers as required under the QMS.
  • Liaise closely with maintenance supervisors, contractors, and vendors to verify service quality.
  • Monitor and verify preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure workmanship quality.
  • Identify trends, recurring defects, and quality lapses; propose improvement actions.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records, checklists, and test reports.
  • Inspect incoming materials, consumables, and spare parts for conformity before acceptance and use.
  • Verify that all works conform to approved drawings, specifications, and standards (ISO 9001, ASHRAE, NEMSA, SON, etc.).
  • Participate in tool box talks, technical meetings, and coordination sessions with engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct spot checks on vendor and subcontractor performance to verify compliance.
  • Record and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client specifications, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare daily quality inspection reports and submit to the QA/QC Engineer or Facility Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND / B.Sc. in Civil, or Facility Engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC documentation.
  • Certification in QA/QC Inspection, or Facility Management (IFMA/BIFM) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, observation, and reporting skills.
  • 3–5 years experience in QA/QC or facility management inspection.
  • Working knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, technical drawings, and engineering standards.
